Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including social skills, motor skills, and cognitive abilities.
- Provide attentive caregiving to meet the individual needs of each child, including feeding, diapering, and comforting.
- Foster an inclusive environment by supporting children with diverse abilities, including those with disabilities.
- Maintain a secure and hygienic classroom environment by adhering to health and safety protocols at all times.
- Observe and document children’s progress,
sharing insights with families and team members to support ongoing development.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging lesson plans and coordinate activities that stimulate curiosity and learning.
- Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding their child’s daily experiences, milestones, and any concerns.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience working with young children in early childhood education settings is highly desirable.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs enhances your ability to support diverse learners.
- Demonstrated teaching skills that foster a positive learning environment through patience, creativity, and enthusiasm.
- Background in caregiving roles that involve nurturing children’s physical and emotional well-being.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices to promote holistic development.
