ARN Project Management is seeking an experienced Civil Drafter / Civil Engineering Technician to join our team on a remote, part-time, as-needed contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled, self-motivated professional who enjoys the flexibility of working from home while contributing to a variety of land development and municipal infrastructure projects.

Position Details
Remote (Work from Home) – Preferably within the Greater Toronto Area, Ontario, Canada
Part-time, contract position (hours to vary)
Versatile schedule – work at your own pace and on your own time, provided project deadlines are met
Normal business hours - Eastern time zone (GMT-4)
Competitive hourly rate to be negotiated Occasional availability on short notice may be required to meet project deadlines
Qualifications The ideal candidate will have:
10+ years of experience in civil drafting or civil engineering technician role.
Extensive experience preparing site plans, subdivision design, and municipal servicing drawings.
Strong understanding of Ontario land development and municipal engineering standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Excellent communication skills and prompt responsiveness.
Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, planners, surveyors, and project managers.
Technical Experience Applicants should have demonstrated experience preparing:
Site Plans
Draft Plans of Subdivision
Municipal Servicing Plans
Grading Plans
Erosion & Sediment Control (ESC) Plans
Pre-Development Drainage Plans
Post-Development Drainage Plans
Stormwater Management (SWM) drawings
Civil Details and Standard Details Experience reviewing and coordinating drawings with the following reports is considered essential:
Stormwater Management Reports
Functional Servicing Reports
Drainage Reports
Software Requirements Applicants must provide and be proficient with:
AutoCAD or Civil 3D (candidates must have their own licensed software)
Reliable computer and internet connection suitable for remote work
