P1: Monday to Friday 11.30 to 1930

P2: Saturday and Sunday 1330-2130Responsibilities for Government Building Security Guard Conducting daily functions of the security unit including visual deterent,



and report writing/note taking.

Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis

Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors

Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork

Assist with access control and monitor individuals within the building.

Maintain a visible security presence to deter incidents.

Conduct regular interior and Exterior patrols of the building.

Manage crowds and ensure safety

Respond to emergencies, such as fires, medical situations, or security breaches.

Access control & technology proficiency required.

Qualifications for Government Building Security Guard Good verbal and written communication skills

Previous experience in the security industry (asset)

Customer service oriented

Be able to work Afernoon shifts

Leadership and problem-solving skills

Ability to work in a stressful environment
