Astro Amusements is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Game Attendants to join our team for the exciting duration of the Canadian National Exhibition (CNE)! As a Game Attendant, you will be the face of our midway games, responsible for engaging with guests, explaining game rules, and ensuring everyone has a fantastic time. This is a seasonal, fast-paced role perfect for individuals who thrive in a dynamic atmosphere.

Responsibilities:

- Guest Engagement: Greet guests warmly, encourage participation in games, and maintain an energetic and inviting atmosphere.
- Game Operation: Clearly explain game rules and objectives, demonstrate gameplay, and ensure fair play among participants.
- Prize Distribution: Award prizes to winners with enthusiasm and accuracy, ensuring prizes are well-maintained and presented.
- Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash transactions, make change, and adhere to all cash handling procedures.
- Area Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your assigned game booth, including restocking supplies and performing light cleaning duties.
- Troubleshooting: Address minor game-related issues or malfunctions, and escalate more complex problems to supervision.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, answer guest questions, and assist with any concerns in a friendly and professional manner.
- Safety & Security: Monitor the game area to ensure secure operation, adhere to all safety protocols, and report any suspicious activity.
- Teamwork:



Collaborate effectively with other team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

- Minimum age requirement: 16 years old.
- Availability to work all 18 days of the CNE (August 15th – September 1st, 2025), including evenings, weekends, and Labour Day.
- Ability to attend mandatory staff orientation and job-specific training sessions (scheduled between August 21 – Sept 7 , 2026
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an outgoing and friendly disposition.
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in varying weather conditions (outdoor environment).
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Previous customer service experience is an asset, but not required.
- A positive attitude and a passion for creating fun experiences!
