Position: Class 1 Commercial Truck Driver – Cross-Border

Route: British Columbia ↔ California

Equipment: Dry Van Tractor-Trailer

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and safety-focused Class 1 Commercial Truck Driver to join our team for regular cross-border runs between British Columbia and California.

We offer consistent long-haul work, dependable miles, and a monthly safety and performance bonus for drivers who maintain our standards for safe, reliable, and professional operation.

Responsibilities

- Operate a dry van tractor-trailer between British Columbia and California
- Complete regular cross-border long-haul deliveries safely and efficiently
- Perform thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and required trip documentation
- Complete and maintain all required customs and border-crossing documentation
- Ensure loads are transported securely and delivered on schedule
- Follow Canadian and U.S. Hours of Service requirements and all applicable transportation regulations
- Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, border officials, and other team members
- Report delays, mechanical concerns, incidents, or delivery issues promptly
- Maintain assigned truck and equipment in clean and professional condition
- Demonstrate secure and responsible driving practices at all times

Requirements Successful applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence
- Minimum 1 year of commercial tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driver's abstract
- Clean criminal record
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing
- Legally eligible to enter and operate commercially in the United States
- Valid passport and all required cross-border documentation
- Strong understanding of commercial vehicle safety and Hours of Service requirements
- Comfortable with long-haul driving between BC and California




- Able to complete required inspections, electronic logs, shipping documents, and customs documentation
- Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and professional
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with dispatch

Previous cross-border driving experience is considered an asset. Compensation & Monthly Safety Performance Bonus
