Kierdorf Masonry & Concrete is looking to add a Concrete form setter and basic finishing.

www.Kierdorf.ca To help run our Concrete projects in the city of Toronto. Must be skilled concrete former, Having basic trowel and finishing skills to help on pour days. And basic knowledge of operating some machines if needed.

Job duties include the following:

· Running the crew by commutating with skilled labours of tasks and how to help.

· Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements for company building projects

· Prepare layouts for the footprint of projects in conformance with residential and commercial building codes, using measuring tools such as measuring tapes, line levels, laser levels

· Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials to create the formwork and/or molds into which the concrete will be placed, vibrated and/or finished





· Reinforce the concrete with materials to give concrete tensile strength

· Select, evaluate and utilize appropriate materials for a given task, selecting and using most suitable tools (as necessary)

· Build, install, assemble the formwork for the foundations of architectural concrete

· Build recent forms on top of previously poured concrete

Minimum experience/skills requirement for the job:

· Between 3 to 5 years of experience working as a Carpenter Concrete Form worker

· No minimum education requirement

· Must be willing to handle physically demanding work, carry heavy loads and work within tight deadlines

· Must be a team player, exercise good judgement and pay close attention to details

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
