Responsibilities
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and mulching to keep outdoor spaces vibrant and healthy
- Support irrigation system installation, repair, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal watering efficiency
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery such as excavators under supervision for various landscaping projects
- Perform gardening duties like pruning, weeding, fertilizing, and soil preparation to promote plant health
- Conduct routine maintenance on equipment and tools to ensure safety and longevity
- Collaborate with team members on construction projects involving site preparation and installation of landscape features
- Follow safety protocols at all times to maintain a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Prior experience or interest in landscaping, gardening, or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with hand tools and power tools is a plus
- Ability to operate small machinery such as excavators or other construction equipment is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Good physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices or construction experience is beneficial but not mandatory
