We are seeking an experienced skilled and detail-oriented Custom Architectural Millwork / Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom woodworking and cabinetry, with the ability to craft high-quality custom cabinets and furniture. This role requires proficiency with power and hand tools, a keen eye for design and precision, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble, and stage cabinets and furniture based on specifications and design plans
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and exact cuts
- Operate power tools and personal hand tools safely and effectively to cut, shape, and finish materials
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety protocols
Qualifications
- Proven experience in furniture/cabinet making & woodworking
- Must have and maintain a set of personal hand tools
- Skilled in using both power tools (e.g., saws, drills) and hand tools (e.g., chisels, sanders)
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- High attention to detail and a passion for quality craftsmanship
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members
