Join our newly established dental clinic as a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist! We are looking for an energetic, compassionate professional to become part of our growing team and help us create an exceptional patient experience from day one.

In this role, you will provide high-quality preventive dental care, educate patients on maintaining excellent oral health, and contribute to a welcoming, modern, and patient-focused environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new practice, help build lasting relationships with patients, and grow alongside our clinic.

This is a part-time position for Saturdays only with potential to add more days in the future.

Responsibilities

- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with applicable regulations and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene, preventive care, and healthy dental habits.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Tracker.
- Provide friendly and exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing patient concerns.
- Help create a positive, welcoming experience for patients of all ages.
- Maintain proper sterilization, instrument preparation, and infection-control procedures.
- Support the dental team with clinic organization and smooth Saturday operations.




- Contribute to building a positive team culture as our current dental clinic grows.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental office is preferred, but motivated candidates who are eager to grow are welcome to apply.
- Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) registered and in good standing with the College of Oral Health Professionals of BC (COHPBC).
- Experience with pediatric or orthodontic patients is an asset.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, oral health, and preventive care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, energetic, and patient-focused attitude.
- Strong commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
- Ability to work Saturdays on a consistent basis.
- Bilingual abilities are considered an asset.
