Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, respectful, and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher plays an important role in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and front-of-house environment while supporting both the kitchen and front teams during daily operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, punctual, maintains valuable personal hygiene, works well in a fast-paced environment, follows instructions carefully, and treats managers, coworkers, and customers with respect.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, utensils, pots, pans, trays, and kitchen and front-of-house equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment and by hand.
- Ensure all cleaned items are properly dried, organized, and returned to their designated storage areas.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and surrounding kitchen areas.
- Sweep and mop floors and assist with general kitchen and front-of-house cleaning throughout the shift.
- Empty garbage, recycling, and food waste and maintain waste disposal areas in a clean and sanitary condition.
- Follow proper food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when required, such as washing or chopping vegetables and preparing ingredients.
- Help keep kitchen workstations, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
- Support the kitchen and front team during busy service periods to maintain an efficient workflow.
- Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and other front-of-house support when required.
- Ensure sufficient clean dishes, utensils, and kitchen tools are available throughout service.




- Follow instructions from managers and supervisors carefully and complete assigned tasks promptly and efficiently.
- Respond quickly to operational needs and demonstrate a sense of urgency, particularly during busy service periods.
- Report any equipment problems, safety concerns, or maintenance issues to the manager promptly.
- Perform other cleaning and kitchen-support duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Expectations

- Previous experience as a dishwasher or in a restaurant, bakery, café, or commercial kitchen is preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper cleaning practices is an asset.
- Respectful and professional attitude toward managers, supervisors, coworkers, customers, and all other individuals in the workplace.
- Must maintain good personal hygiene and arrive at work clean and appropriately dressed for the position.
- Must be punctual, dependable, and ready to begin work at the scheduled start time.
- Must be able to listen carefully, follow instructions, and complete assigned tasks correctly and efficiently.
- Ability to work with a sense of urgency and respond quickly during busy periods.
- Ability to accept direction and feedback professionally.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and detail.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and carrying kitchen items.

We are looking for a team member who understands that respect, punctuality, personal cleanliness, teamwork, and following instructions are just as important as maintaining a clean and organized workplace. Pay: From $17.60 per hour
