The Westbrook School Department is seeking a full time Special Education/General EducationSocial Worker to support and providerelated services tostudents that have Social Work goals on their Individual Education Plans as well as support and provide Social Work services to our General Education population that need services individually, group, or within classrooms.The position will require working withstudents in grades K-4 with social-emotionalneeds andchallenges that require support.The position requires:the eagerness to be part of a dynamic team, knowledge of interventions, and participation in IEP meetings. The Social Workerwill providecomprehensive services, completeState of Maine paperwork requirements and meetspecial education timelines. Westbrook School District Special Services Department provides student-centered instruction to support the diverse learning needs of students districtwide, in grades kindergarten through high school. Our innovative and dedicated staff employ evidence based literacy and mathematics programs to promote student success.

The range of salary is $52,393 to $98,248 depending on experience and education.
