Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Landscape Horticulture Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous landscaping experience, a good eye for detail, and a solid foundation of plant knowledge.

This position will involve landscape maintenance while also assisting with landscape installations and construction projects. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude, and is interested in continuing to learn and develop their skills.

Responsibilities

- Perform detailed garden and landscape maintenance
- Prune shrubs, small trees, and ornamental plants
- Shear and maintain large hedges
- Identify and care for common landscape plants
- Assist with planting and landscape installations
- Assist with hardscaping and landscape construction
- Safely operate power tools and landscape equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site

Qualifications

- Previous landscaping or horticulture experience required




- Good plant knowledge and a strong landscape eye
- Experience pruning and shearing large hedges
- Some experience with hardscaping and landscape installations
- Comfortable using common landscape tools and equipment
- Robust attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's licence required
