Lead innovative facilities planning at the University of Waterloo as a Facilities Planning Manager. This role emphasizes long-term strategies for campus housing and involves extensive project management. In this permanent full time position within Campus Housing, you will drive the development of a 20+ year Facilities Strategy focused on enhancing residence facilities.

With over 5 years of relevant experience, your role involves architectural design leadership, stakeholder engagement, and handling comprehensive planning studies for future expansions and renewals. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain the Campus Housing Facilities Strategy
- Lead residence expansion and renewal planning projects
- Create financial models to support strategic initiatives




- Develop and present business cases for project proposals
- Collaborate with partners to define design standards Requirements:
- University degree in Architecture, Planning, or Engineering
- 5-10 years of architecture experience
- 3-5 years in facilities planning or asset management
- Experience in client representation during design processes
- Strong knowledge of building codes and construction law Drive strategic change in residence facilities with your planning expertise at the University of Waterloo.
