Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one peer support, guidance, and resource navigation for family members affected by mental health or addiction challenges.
- Develop, coordinate, and facilitate family-focused support programs, including Family Recovery Journey, Family Support Group, and other initiatives.
- Build partnerships with healthcare providers, community organizations, Indigenous partners, and treatment facilities to strengthen referral networks.
- Assist with developing and maintaining family support resources, including website content, guides, and educational materials.
- Monitor program outcomes, collect participant feedback, and report results to the Executive Director and funders.
- Provide general office support, including answering phones and emails,
printing services, and ordering office supplies.
Qualifications
- Lived experience as a family member supporting someone with mental health or addiction challenges.
- Knowledge of recovery-oriented care.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Health Sciences, or a related field is considered an asset but is not required.
- Valid driver's licence required.
