Finance Operations Manager
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Works Closely With: CEO, COO, Financial Planners, Investment Team, Insurance Team, Marketing, External Accounting Firm, Banking Partners, Software & Operations Team About RFL Wealth

We are growing rapidly and are looking for an experienced, Finance Operations Manager who will be responsible for ensuring every financial transaction within RFL Wealth is accurate, reconciled, forecasted, and reported. This role serves as the company's financial operating system-owning the movement of every dollar from the moment revenue is generated until it appears in the company's bank account and financial reports What Success Looks Like

Reporting provides leadership with actionable insights and decision-making support. Core Responsibilities
Own revenue operations across financial planning fees, investment (AUM) revenue, insurance commissions, and future business lines.
Reconcile expected revenue, invoices, commission/dealer statements, bank deposits, and accounting records.
Prepare weekly executive dashboards covering revenue, cash flow, profitability, forecasts, receivables, payables, and budget variances.
Manage cash flow forecasting (30/60/90-day and annual).
Own departmental budget tracking and variance analysis.
Manage accounts receivable and collections.
Oversee accounts payable and vendor payments.
Review payroll, bonuses, commissions, and contractor payments before processing.
Monitor banking, loans, credit facilities, and debt obligations.
Coordinate month-end financial operations with the external accounting firm.
Maintain executive KPI dashboards.
Continuously improve and automate financial processes while documenting SOPs.
Develop financial controls and operational safeguards to ensure reporting integrity.
Analyze trends and provide recommendations that improve profitability, efficiency, and cash management.
Support strategic business planning through financial analysis and forecasting.

Review receivables and debt obligations.
Coordinate with external accountants.

Budget revisions.
Financial process audits.
Vendor contract reviews.
Financial control reviews.
Cash flow analysis.
Strategic planning support.

Ideal
Candidate
5+ years in finance, accounting, or financial operations.
Experience with multiple revenue streams, budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliations.
Advanced Excel/Google Sheets and accounting software experience.
Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, follow-through, and process improvement mindset.
Strong financial reporting, cash flow management, and business analysis skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, investment management, banking, or professional services is considered an asset. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
CPA designation in positive standing.
Experience with financial reporting systems, accounting software, and business intelligence dashboards.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, reconciliations, and cash flow management.
Demonstrated experience building scalable financial processes and operational controls. First 90 Days
Map all company revenue streams.
Own reconciliation of planning fees, investment revenue, and insurance commissions.
Implement weekly executive reporting.
Build a rolling 90-day cash flow forecast.
Standardize month-end financial operations.

· Hours of work:
o Standard workweek of 40 hours, with availability and flexibility to work in evenings and on weekends.
o Overtime, where applicable, will be compensated in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA).
