We’re hiring a Financial Analyst for our client, a well-established organization located in the heart of Mississauga .

This is a 6-month contract opportunity with a strong possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. The role is ideal for someone with solid hands-on accounting experience who enjoys working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment .

? Location: Mississauga

? Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

? Contract: 6 months | Potential extension/conversion to permanent

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Financial Analyst will support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes and assist with day-to-day accounting and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and other month-end adjustments
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and variance investigation
- Work with large volumes of financial transactions while maintaining accuracy




- Support the Accounting Manager with ad hoc analysis and accounting-related requests
- Identify opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Previous accounting/financial analyst experience within a mid-to-large-sized organization

• Strong hands-on experience with journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end close

• Experience working in a high-volume transactional workplace

- Solid analytical skills with excellent attention to detail

• Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables ; Macros are an asset

- Proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
