Role Description This contract Financial Services Representative role is a hybrid position based in Markham, ON, with a combination of in-office work and some work from home. The representative will meet with clients to assess their financial needs, provide education on financial concepts, and recommend appropriate products such as insurance and investment solutions. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting client consultations, preparing financial illustrations, processing applications, and following up to ensure client satisfaction and policy or account completion.

The role also involves maintaining accurate records, adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards,



and participating in ongoing training to stay current on financial products and industry trends. Representatives may also support business development activities, including networking, referrals, and community outreach within the local market.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess knowledge and skills in Finance and Financial Services to understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.

Candidates should possess skills related to Investments to explain options, risks, and benefits to clients in clear, accessible terms.

Candidates should possess skills in Insurance to help clients evaluate coverage needs and select suitable policies.

Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills to build trust, respond to inquiries, and maintain long-term client relationships.

Relevant licenses or willingness to obtain required provincial financial and insurance licenses.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain financial concepts in straightforward language.

Ability to work independently, manage a flexible schedule, and engage in business development activities.
