Join our dynamic asphalt crew as a Finish Rake Man / Finish Roller Operator, where you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality paving projects. Responsibilities

- Operate finishing equipment such as rollers and rakes to ensure proper compaction and smooth surface finishes on asphalt projects
- Assist with the placement and spreading of asphalt using rakes, shovels, and other hand tools to achieve optimal surface quality
- Operate heavy machinery including loaders, excavators, and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to maintain mechanical functionality and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate paving activities, ensuring timely project completion
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and others




- Support the setup and cleanup of job sites, including moving materials and preparing surfaces for paving

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on heavy equipment
- Construction experience, particularly in paving or concrete forming, is highly desirable
- Proficiency in operating heavy machinery such as rollers, loaders, excavators, and concrete finishing tools
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is a plus for transporting equipment or materials
- Strong understanding of paving techniques and concrete finishing processes
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina and attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward safety and quality standards
