Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Service Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting in food preparation, serving, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and possess robust time management skills to ensure efficient service during busy periods.

Duties

- Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
- Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with upselling menu items to enhance the customer experience
- Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper change is given




- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines related to food handling and preparation

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
- Knowledge of sanitation practices within the food industry is a plus
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
