Location: Brantford, ON Job Type: Part-Time, In-Office Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM Compensation: Competitive hourly wage (based on experience) About the Role We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Freight Brokerage Assistant to join our growing logistics team in Brantford, Ontario. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, customer-focused, and eager to learn.

We specialize in refrigerated and dry van transportation throughout Canada and the United States while continuing to expand our freight brokerage division. Working directly alongside our Freight Brokers, you will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of freight shipments while delivering exceptional customer service.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, thrives under pressure, and takes pride in ensuring every shipment moves smoothly from pickup to delivery. No previous logistics experience is required. We are willing to train the right individual who demonstrates a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities

· Enter customer orders accurately into our Transportation Management System (TMS)

· Assist Freight Brokers with day-to-day shipment management

· Track and trace shipments throughout the day, when required





· Book pickup and delivery appointments with customers and receivers

· Assist with carrier onboarding and maintain carrier files

· Verify carrier insurance, safety ratings, WSIB, Carrier411, and other compliance requirements

· Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation

· Collaborate with the brokerage team to ensure exceptional customer service Qualifications
