Prestige Vernon Lodge & Conference Centre is looking for a part time Front Desk Agent/Night Auditor (also known as a Guest Services Agent/Night Auditor).

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Provides courteous and professional guest services
- Utilizes instinctive upselling techniques and negotiate rates to maximize revenue and occupancy levels
- Maintains order and cleanliness at the front desk
- Handles guest accounts
- Assists guests on arrival, departure and during their stay
- Operates the telephone console
- Processes reservation and cancellation requests




- Post room and tax
- Perform food and beverage audit if required
- Reconcile postings, charges and cash for the day
- Balance all summaries to main computer system
- Balance all cashiers’ postings for the day
- Post any incidental charges required
- Prepare all required daily and summary reports
- Perform back up of computer system
- Maintains guest security and safety measures
- Report all system problems to management
- Balance all outlets summaries to the main computer
- Recognize trends in the outlets and room revenue
- Perform other duties as directed by the General Manager

What does an ideal candidate look like?

- Must be willing to work both day shifts & Night Audit shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must have strong written and verbal skills
- Front desk experience is an asset but NOT required
- Must be willing to get Basic First Aid
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour
