Snow Valley Lodging is seeking a dependable and friendly team member to assist with both Housekeeping and Front Desk operations.

This position is ideal for someone already living in Fernie who is looking for flexible supplemental hours and enjoys a varied workday. Shifts will be offered according to hotel occupancy, employee coverage and operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping

- Clean and prepare guest rooms according to property standards
- Change linens, make beds and restock supplies
- Clean bathrooms, kitchens and common areas
- Report maintenance concerns, damages and lost items
- Assist with laundry and general upkeep when required

Front Desk:
- Welcome guests and complete check-ins and check-outs
- Answer telephone calls, emails and inquiries
- Manage reservations, payments and guest requests
- Provide property information and local recommendations
- Communicate concerns to the appropriate department
- Maintain accurate reservation notes and shift records

Qualifications
- Must currently reside in Fernie
- Reliable, professional and detail-oriented




- Friendly and comfortable assisting guests
- Able to use computers and learn hotel systems
- Physically capable of performing cleaning duties
- Available for occasional morning, evening, weekend and holiday shifts
- Able to report to work on short notice when available
- Previous hospitality, housekeeping or customer-service experience is an asset
