We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pharmacist to oversee daily pharmacy operations at an independently-owned pharmacy with a manageable daily script volume — ideal for a pharmacist who values quality patient interactions over high-pressure script counts. This leadership role requires strong clinical knowledge and supervisory experience.
Compensation: $50–60/hr, depending on experience.
Duties
Manage daily pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing, inventory control, and staff supervision
Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal pharmacy regulations and safety standards
Provide expert guidance on medication administration and patient care protocols
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy management
Oversee the preparation and review of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness
Lead efforts to improve customer satisfaction
Requirements
Valid Pharmacist license in Ontario, in good standing with OCP
Minimum of 2 years experience as a registered Pharmacist in Canada
Valid injection training and first aid certificate
Excellent patient care skills with a focus on safety, accuracy, and confidentiality
Proficiency in using Kroll computer software and in insurance billing
Experience in expanded scope services including injection administration, medication reviews, and minor ailments prescribing
Commitment to continuous career development and staying current with industry regulations and best practices
English required; Farsi fluency an asset
