Days Inn Brantford is seeking a well-organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to fill the position of Front Desk/Night Auditor. This individual should be able to work effectively under pressure, adapt to a dynamic environment, and handle multiple responsibilities with precision. The Front Desk/Night Audit Supervisor will be expected to oversee all guest service and audit operations during overnight shifts, ensuring guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

- Guest Services: Provide outstanding customer service by attending to guest needs, assisting with reservations, offering directions, recommending local activities, and addressing any concerns.
- Night Audit: Conduct nightly audits, run reports, and reconcile daily financial transactions for the hotel. Prepare and organize arrivals for the following day.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure all hotel policies and procedures are followed, particularly during overnight operations. Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of the lobby, common areas, and guest rooms.
- Team Support: Assist in supervising the front desk team, covering shifts when needed,



and providing direction to staff on operational tasks. Assist with training recent team members on hotel procedures and guest service standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Help with routine maintenance tasks, such as folding/stocking laundry, cleaning the lobby, and ensuring the hotel is in pristine condition.
- Guest Relations: Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional, effective manner to ensure complete satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications:

- Previous experience in customer service or hotel front desk operations is strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Excel and a working understanding of basic accounting principles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluency in English required).
- Ability to work independently and problem solve with minimal supervision.
- Able to stand for extended periods (8-hour shift).
- Flexible availability to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Pay: From $17.60 per hour
