Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Head Cleaner for our Dry Cleaning Plant. In this role, you will perform and oversee all cleaning operations, that including dry cleaning, wet cleaning, laundering, and specialty garment care. You will ensure quality standards are met, and lead a team committed to excellence. Your expertise will help uphold our reputation for outstanding service and efficiency.

Duties

- Perform and oversee daily cleaning activities within the dry cleaning plant to ensure timely and thorough processing of garments and textiles.
- Identify stains and apply proper pre-spotting and removal techniques.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the facility
- Monitor laundry and cleaning processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications
- Operate cleaning machines, washers, dryers, and finishing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect garments before and after cleaning to ensure quality and determine re-cleaning needs
- Handle delicate and specialty items such as wedding gowns, beaded garments, leather, suede and household textiles




- Coordinate with other departments to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines
- Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
- Proven experience in hotel laundry or cleaning operations is highly desirable
- Excellent knowledge of laundry techniques, cleaning procedures, and equipment maintenance
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a quick-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance
- Good communication skills for training staff and coordinating with management
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment
- Physically able to lift, bend, stand, and work with machinery.
