About the Role

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Health Care Aide (HCA) registered College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA) with to join our care team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, person-centered care while supporting clients with their daily living needs and promoting their comfort, dignity, independence, and well-being.

Responsibilities

- Provide personal care and assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Assist clients with meals, hydration, and other daily routines.
- Provide safe transfers and mobility assistance using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, emotional, or behavioural condition.
- Follow individual care plans and communicate effectively with the care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for clients.
- Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean and organized client setting.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies, infection prevention procedures, and applicable care standards.




- Treat all clients with dignity, compassion, privacy, and respect.

Qualifications
- Valid Health Care Aide (HCA) certificate
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Previous experience in home care, continuing care, supportive living, long-term care, or a related setting is an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, compassionate, and professional.
- Ability to safely perform the physical requirements of the position.
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is must
