Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, making them feel comfortable and valued from the moment they walk in
- Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems like Micros POS, and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize flow
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about wait times, menu options, or special events
- Maintain clear communication with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and service delivery
- Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their dining experience
- Monitor waiting lists and inform guests of estimated wait times while offering complimentary beverages or amenities when appropriate
- Uphold cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, food service, or hospitality environments is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Experience in hotel or restaurant environments is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
