We are looking for a Full time Hot Tub Department Supervisor to join our team at Bear Country Property Management. We are open to seasonal and permanent applicants for this position.

The Hot Tub department is responsible for maintaining the overall condition and water quality of Condo Hot Tubs, while ensuring the highest standard of service. We follow strict health and safety guidelines to provide a clean, safe, well-maintained hot tub experience for all guests and owners.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the hot tub department.
- Ensure all hot tubs are clean, safe, operational and maintained to company standards.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate water chemistry, including sanitizer, PH/Alkalinity levels and other required parameters.
- Maintain regular hot tub cleaning & inspections.
- With the support of the Maintenance Manager; supervise and support hot tub technicians, including training and performance.
- Keep accurate records of water testing, chemical usage, maintenance & repairs.
- Coordinate repairs and servicing of pumps, filters, heaters, covers, jets and other hot tub components.
- Assist with supply orders.
- Monitor department procedures and assist with ways to improve efficiency, service quality and guest satisfaction.
- Provide good communication with guests & owners.




- Handling hazardous chemicals.
- Assisting & working alongside the Maintenance department as needed.
- Snow and garbage removal (Winter only).

QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in hot tub, pool, spa, facilities or property maintenance.
- Trade qualification or technical background in plumbing, electrical or mechanical maintenance would be an asset.
- Previous supervisory or management experience.
- Strong knowledge of water chemistry (pool certificates are an asset but not required).
- Knowledge of hot tub equipment (Pumps, heaters, control systems)
- Ability to commute/relocate: Sun Peaks, BC
- Comfortable working mostly outdoors in all weather & physically able to lift 25lbs*
- Strong problem solving & decision-making skills.
- Customer service skills
- Strong Communication /interpersonal skills
- Language: English
- First Aid Certificate is an asset
- Valid BC Driver’s License
- Education: High School Diploma
- Legal ability work in Canada without restrictions.
