Fireweed Camps Ltd. is a progressive and innovative business with a focus on providing exceptional catering and janitorial services to our clients. Fire season is upon us and we are looking for interested applicants to fill the following positions:

- Housekeeping Lead
- Housekeeper / Janitorial

Overview To provide catering and janitorial services for the Ministry of Forests Lands and Natural Resource and Wildfire Management Branch. Create and serve outstanding gourmet meals for the WMB while maintaining a safe, clean work, and rest environment. Adhere to company policies and procedures.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping team to ensure efficient operations
- Lead by example in performing cleaning tasks using industry-standard techniques for camp and/or industrial cleaning environments
- Train new team members on cleaning procedures, safety standards, and customer service expectations
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to maintain impeccable cleanliness
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and timely replenishment
- Address guest requests or concerns promptly to enhance their experience
- Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the housekeeping department





Experience

- Proven custodial or housekeeping experience in a camp or industrial cleaning setting
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a similar role preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and industry standards
- Familiarity with camp operations or large-scale custodial environments is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
