Responsibilities

- Oversee all aspects of import activities, including documentation, customs clearance, and transportation coordination
- Collaborate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of imported goods
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company policies at all times
- Manage import schedules, track shipments, and resolve any issues that may arise during transit or clearance processes
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions, tariffs, duties, and related documentation
- Lead efforts to optimize import procedures for cost savings, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and resolve logistical challenges promptly

Experience

- Proven experience in import/export operations or international logistics management




- Strong understanding of customs regulations, tariffs, and trade compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with global partners and internal teams
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving shipment issues
- Familiarity with supply chain management software and documentation systems is preferred
