Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Indian Restaurant Kitchen Helper to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our kitchen operations by assisting with food preparation, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the food industry while contributing to a thriving restaurant setting.

Duties

- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, peeling, and organizing ingredients for various dishes
- Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and helping chefs during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Handle food safely by following proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures




- Assist with serving food to customers in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and restaurant policies
- Support meal preparation tasks as directed by kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

Experience

- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with food handling, safety procedures, and basic cooking techniques is advantageous
- Experience in the food industry or kitchen settings will help in understanding the fast-paced nature of the role
- Ability to work efficiently under supervision while maintaining attention to detail in food preparation and cleanliness
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role

Pay: $17.60-$19.00 per hour
