- Teach, coach and supervise nursing students in classroom, lab and mental health clinical settings.
- Evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in the development, maintenance and revision of curriculum.
- Work closely with the Psychiatric Nursing Program Head and other project team members.
- Participate in program, Campus, Saskatchewan Polytechnic, industry and professional or other stakeholder activities.
- Travel may be required. Qualifications:

Baccalaureate
Degree in Psychiatric Nursing, Nursing, or a Diploma in Psychiatric Nursing with a degree in a related field.
- Active registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRPNS) or College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS).
- Minimum of three years recent and relevant clinical/teaching experience with a focus on mental health.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written).
- Effective interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills.
- Effective instructional ability.
- Ability to apply the theory, practices and principles of psychiatric nursing, medical nursing, and adult education.
- Small group facilitation skills and leading, modeling and teaching interaction skills.
- Ability to arrange, maintain and evaluate resources.
- Understanding of copyright process.
- Ability to function as a team member in an ever-changing setting.
- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, e-mail, MS Office Suite software and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
- Demonstrates valuing diversity.
