Job Overview

We're looking for a Level 1 IT Technician to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is a excellent fit for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and takes documentation and process seriously — whether you're an experienced tech looking for flexible part-time hours, or a strong student who's sharp on process and eager to build real-world IT experience.

Hours are flexible within normal business hours, so this role can work around a class schedule, a second job, or other commitments — as long as the work gets done consistently each week.

What You'll Do

- Provide Level 1 technical support (troubleshooting hardware, software, and basic network issues)
- Document all tickets, resolutions, and recurring issues clearly and consistently
- Follow existing IT processes and procedures, and flag gaps or improvements when you see them
- Escalate more complex issues to senior IT staff with clear notes and context
- Assist with basic account, access, and equipment setup/support
- Occasionally support on-site tasks when remote troubleshooting isn't enough

What We're Looking For

- Comfortable with core IT Level 1 tasks:



password resets, basic troubleshooting, ticket handling, common software/hardware issues
- Strong documentation habits — this matters as much as technical skill for this role
- Ability to follow (and improve) established processes
- Reliable and communicative, especially given the flexible/remote nature of the role
- Prior IT experience preferred, but we're open to strong candidates (including students) who can demonstrate solid documentation and process discipline
- Able to occasionally travel to customer sites for on-site support as needed
