Summary:

- Location: Montreal (day 1 onboarding onsite / in-office presence required 3x/week)

- Work Mode: Hybrid

Responsibilities:

- Engage in long-term strategic development and short-term business-focused development on the trading platform.

- Deliver increased automation to the trading desk and expand electronic trading capabilities by creating and expanding Algos.

- Gain expertise in several components of the platform and take full ownership of projects from requirement gathering to roll-out.

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of working knowledge in Java.

- Development experience in object-oriented programming and working with a mixture of new and legacy systems.

- Basic understanding of Fixed Income products and ability to communicate with traders.

- Good problem-solving skills, result-focused, can-do attitude, and solid focus on keeping the business running and competitive.

- Ability to work in a team.

- Demonstrate some ability to work with AI agents.

Preferred Skills:

- Knowledge of Scala and Python.

- Experience in the finance industry.

- Open to learning and working with other technologies & AI tools as business objectives require.
