Duties

- Assist with the installation and maintenance of gardens, lawns, and landscape features using hand tools and power tools
- Operate machinery such as excavators and other construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Prepare sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and digging trenches for irrigation systems or plantings
- Support irrigation setup and repairs to ensure optimal watering systems are in place
- Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, planting, mulching, and fertilizing
- Conduct general garden care with an emphasis on horticulture best practices and plant health




- Maintain tools and equipment through regular cleaning, inspection, and mechanical repairs as needed
- Follow safety protocols at all times to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and team members

Experience

- Prior experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture or construction is highly desirable
- Familiarity with operating excavators and other mechanical equipment is a plus
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and maintenance enhances your suitability for this role
- Hands-on experience with hand tools such as shovels, pruners, rakes, and wheelbarrows
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining high safety standards
- Basic understanding of landscape maintenance practices including lawn care and plant health management
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting equipment issues and performing routine repairs
