Centra Lawyers LLP is a busy medium-sized firm located in Maple Ridge. We are currently looking for a Legal Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be able to fulfill the following duties and will meet the following qualifications:

Duties

- Back up reception coverage and duties;
- Vacation coverage for assistants;
- File openings, preparation and management;
- Filing and scanning documents;
- Schedule appointments, email and calendar management;

- Draft correspondence
- Prepare invoices and manage client collections;
- Assist other assistants as needed;
- Communicate with clients in a courteous and professional manner; and
- Other duties as required.

Qualifications:

- Legal Assistant Diploma required;
- Excellent spoken English, grammar and editing skills;
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in MS Office and Adobe;
- Experience with Leap preferred;




- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and work under pressure; and
- Ability to work both independently, and in a team environment with a can-do attitude
