Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking menu items following established recipes and presentation standards.
- Support food preparation tasks including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, ensuring proper food handling and storage practices are followed at all times.
- Assist with plating dishes quickly and accurately during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery.
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene regulations to keep the kitchen protected for everyone.
- Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages or issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and exceptional guest experiences.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and basic cooking techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and guest interactions when needed.
- Experience with meal preparation, serving, and general kitchen operations is a plus.
