Rotational 6x6, Permanent; Monday to Saturday SECURITY CLEARANCE: Nasittuq Corporation (from the Inuktitut word meaning “looking out from the highest point”) operates and maintains the North Warning System (NWS), a critical joint Canada-US radar network with 47 sites across Northern Canada. As a Zone Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient management and daily operations of North Warning System (NWS) sites in your assigned zone. Your leadership will ensure smooth logistics, staff supervision, and operational effectiveness. Supervise and support all site employees, ensuring safe and efficient operations Oversee daily logistics, site maintenance, and resource allocation in alignment with Nasittuq priorities Ensure compliance with company policies, Collective Bargaining Agreements, security protocols, and safety regulations Coordinate with internal teams, including Long Range Radar (LRR) Site Supervisors and Logistics Support Site (LSS) staff, to manage site operations Conduct regular inspections and ensure timely reporting of maintenance, safety, and operational issues Manage budget planning and execution for the assigned zone Train, coach, and evaluate staff performance to maintain a highly skilled workforce Represent Nasittuq in community and client interactions, fostering positive relationships Travel to Short Range Radar (SRR) sites as required Post‑secondary education or certification in a technical or trade‑related field Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in operations, maintenance,
or logistics within a technical or trade‑related field Strong knowledge of work/project management practices related to remote site operations Proven leadership, team building, mentoring, and facilitation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Ability to speak Inuktitut is an asset Rotation & Overtime: 6 weeks in/6 weeks out rotation, 48 hours per week, Paid travel days (up to 2 days) and all travel costs covered.
