Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented handyman to maintain cleanliness and safety across our hotel. The ideal candidate will ensure that all areas are kept in pristine condition, supporting a clean and healthy environment for staff and guests. This role involves performing routine cleaning tasks such as snow removal during winter, minor maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the overall upkeep of our facilities, promoting a positive and skilled atmosphere, any electrical, plumbing, or carpentry experience is an advantage .

Responsibilities

· Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs

· Servicing Ice Machines, and Rooms AC's

· Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment

· Perform minor repairs on appliances and furniture

· Perform safety and security checks

· maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and make minor purchases as required

· respond to requests from residents for minor repairs

· perform daily inspections on the building systems

· provide general assistance to skilled trade persons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters and plumbers





· coordinate the preparation of housing units prior to the arrival of new residents

· Move heavy furniture, equipment and supplies

· Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting, drywall repair, or wallpaper repair

· Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse

· Clean snow and ice from walkways

· Service Hotel Car with the dealership

Skills

- Knowledge of commercial cleaning procedures and best practices preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and management
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift light to moderate loads as needed

This role is vital in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our Hotel. We value reliability, professionalism, and a proactive approach to facility upkeep. Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
