Manager, Agile Program Management (Contract-to-Hire)

Job Title: Manager, Agile Program Management

Location: Calgary, AB (Onsite – 4 Days/Week)

Duration: Long term (Contract-to-Hire after approximately 6 months)

We are seeking an experienced Manager, Agile Program Management to lead the planning and delivery of strategic technology initiatives. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity for a seasoned Project Manager who has experience managing multiple projects, working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong project governance experience, excellent stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience using Azure DevOps Boards in Product Manager and Scrum Master capacities.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
- 8+ years of hands-on Project Management experience
- Strong understanding of Waterfall, Hybrid Agile,



and Agile project delivery methodologies
- Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, budgets, timelines, and resources
- Experience creating enhancement roadmaps for custom-built applications
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Boards as both Product Manager and Scrum Master
- Experience preparing, reviewing, and finalizing Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Strong experience producing project documentation including:
- Project Charters
- Risk Registers
- Change Requests
- Status Reports
- Communication Plans
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Solid problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience working in regulated industries
- Utility or electricity transmission industry experience is highly preferred
