We have an prospect for an Intern Mechanical Engineer to join our Whitehorse

Your Key Responsibilities
As the successful candidate your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Prepare contract drawings, schematics, schedules, details, and sketches from conceptual design through to construction.
Produce aspects of mechanical design and drawings in REVIT, as well as in AutoCAD.
Assist in the design of building related mechanical systems including HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems across Canada using applicable codes, standards, and reference materials.
Review equipment selections, perform preliminary engineering calculations, and develop preliminary designs.
Facilitate and ensure the quality of the project deliverables.
Follow production guidelines and project standards in the department drafting standards manual.
Review shop drawings and other contractor submittals for compliance with construction documents.
Perform field surveys for drawing developments, site reviews and as recorded drawings.
- Communicate with other team members and become familiar with Stantec standards. To complete assignments and projects in a timely manner as required by the Job Captain or supervisor.
Pay Transparency: In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications,
experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible. Actual compensation for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on the agreed number of working hours per week.
