Duties

- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic activities that promote functional independence and enhance daily living skills across diverse patient populations.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and case managers to coordinate effective care strategies.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans to optimize outcomes and ensure continuous improvement.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive techniques, and home programs to support ongoing recovery.
- Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment sessions,



and progress notes in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in case management activities to facilitate seamless patient care transitions and discharge planning.

Experience

- Proven experience working as an Occupational Therapist in hospital settings or acute care environments.
- Familiarity with pediatric therapy practices and experience managing cases involving children is highly desirable.
- Robust understanding of medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy and patient documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Experience in case management processes to coordinate multidisciplinary care efforts effectively.
- Additional experience in hospital environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced clinical situations.
