Growth Marketing Associate Part-Time

Location: Toronto, ON — On-site

Hours: 20 hours per week

Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday

About Us

ClassClown is the company behind Hey Cleo, a voice-based AI learning platform helping students practise, complete assignments and demonstrate understanding through conversation.

We are an early-stage startup moving quickly, testing constantly and building the playbook as we go.

The Role

We are looking for a proactive Growth Marketing Associate to work directly with the founders across:

- Paid ads and growth experiments
- Social media and content creation
- UGC and creator outreach
- Customer and competitor research
- Landing pages and conversion
- Campaign analysis and reporting
- Sales and lead follow-up when needed

This is not a role where every task will be handed to you. We want someone who can understand the goal, take ownership and figure out how to get there.

Startup Life

Things move quickly here. Priorities change, experiments fail and opportunities appear unexpectedly.

Your contracted hours are 20 hours per week,



but there may occasionally be days where an important campaign, launch or task needs additional flexibility to get it over the line. Any additional working time will be managed in accordance with applicable employment requirements.

If you want highly predictable days and clearly defined tasks at all times, this probably isn't the right environment.

What We're Looking For

- Proactive and comfortable working independently
- Strong communication and content skills
- Comfortable with numbers and marketing performance data
- Familiar with TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
- Willing to experiment, learn quickly and take feedback
- Comfortable speaking with customers
- Interested in startups, AI, technology or education

Experience with Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Canva, CapCut, analytics, CRM tools or content creation is a bonus.
- We care more about ability, ownership and potential than having the perfect CV.
