Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders for food and drinks using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets quality standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Assist with food handling procedures to ensure proper food safety practices are followed
- Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently through effective time management skills
- Engage with guests to enhance their experience, addressing any questions or special requests
Qualifications
- Prior restaurant experience or food service experience preferred but not required; enthusiasm is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Robust customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Basic math skills for cashiering, making change, and managing tabs accurately
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours
