Has the desire to coach all fitness levels.

Is energetic and able to motivate members throughout the sessions.
Has the ability to accept constructive feedback and quickly incorporate changes.
Has positive, motivating, and effective communication skills.
Who is this NOT perfect for?
Pratt’s Pro Fitness is a system, so that each staff member provides a similar experience for members. This is not a good fit for someone who wants to run their own system or coach their own philosophy.
Here is what you get as a Pratt’s Pro Fitness Team Member …
Continuing Education: Improve your knowledge of strength and conditioning, injury prevention, exercise physiology, exercise progressions and regressions, and communicating with members. This will ultimately allow you to fine-tune your craft and provide top-notch training to those who need it most.
No Sales:
No need to stress about making sales or quotas.
Compensation: It’s awesome here, but we’re not going to ask you to work for free. Starting pay is $25/hour.
Career Advancement: Take on additional roles such as delivering online training, writing programs, customer service, and teaching interns.
Duties & Responsibilities
Work 2-4 evenings per week
Ensure safety of participants
Desire and capacity to coach all fitness levels
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized facility
Deliver personalized workouts to groups of up to 6 people
Knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and biomechanics
Handle or report member questions or concerns when applicable
Attend all staff meetings
Foster attendance habits by developing rapport and providing a memorable experience
Modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels and avoid pre-existing injuries
Qualifications
Certification: A personal trainer certification or a degree in a related field is required to apply. A NSCA, Can-Fit-Pro, NASM, ACE, or ISSA certification is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years’ experience is preferred but NOT required. If you’re totally new to this game, please do not let that prevent you from applying. We’ll teach you what you need to know.
