Little Big Mountains (littlebigmountains.com) is a Toronto-based company that creates hand-poured plaster topographic mountain models. Each piece is a framed, 3D representation of a real mountain — made from actual elevation data and cast in plaster.

We're looking for a reliable person to take on ongoing piecework casting on a contract basis. The work involves pouring plaster into silicone molds, demolding, and finishing each piece to our quality standards. Full training and all molds, materials, and specs will be provided.

What we're looking for:

- Someone who can provide their own workspace. This doesn't need to be a full shop but space to set up casting equipment and area for castings to dry is necessary. A large table, access to water, and some shelf space for curing is all you need. You are responsible for storing mold library which is housed in two large totes.
- Comfortable with hands-on,



detail-oriented work and able to maintain consistent quality across batches adhering to required product specification
- Access to a car is preferred for dropping off finished product.
- Experience with sculpture and other art studio techniques is an asset.
- A love of skiing, snowboarding, or the mountains is a big plus — it helps to care about what you're making.
