Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities





- Manage and support enterprise platform infrastructure across Unix/Linux and Windows environments
- Administer and maintain Active Directory services, user access, and group policies
- Manage NAS storage infrastructure and file systems
- Support and maintain Azure cloud platform services and resources
- Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot applications on OpenShift
- Manage and support messaging platforms including IBM MQ and Kafka
- Monitor platform performance, availability, and capacity
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and maintenance activities
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, platform, and middleware issues
- Collaborate with application, security, and operations teams to ensure platform stability and reliability
- Implement automation and operational best practices
- Support incident, problem, and change management processes

Must-Have Skills

- Strong experience with Unix/Linux administration
- Experience managing Windows Server environments
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory administration
- Experience with NAS storage technologies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Experience deploying and supporting applications on OpenShift
- Hands-on experience with IBM MQ




- Strong experience with Apache Kafka
- Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring and troubleshooting
- Experience with system administration, patching, and performance tuning
- Understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with automation and scripting
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container platforms
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools
- Banking or Financial Services domain experience
- Knowledge of cloud security and infrastructure governance
- Experience with enterprise-scale production support environments

Salary Range - CA$ 90,000 - CA$ 110,000 Per Year
