Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
- Package meals accurately for delivery, ensuring presentation and quality are preserved during transit
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Deliver orders promptly to customers, providing friendly and professional service at all times
- Manage food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure freshness
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of shortages
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar food service role within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; reliable transportation for deliveries
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and restaurant operations is preferred
- Ability to stay organized, multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
