Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Production Technician to join our manufacturing team in a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulated production environment. In this role, you will support production and packaging operations, execute batch documentation accurately, and help maintain the quality, safety, and compliance standards required in a regulated facility. Your mechanical aptitude, hands-on skills with hand and power tools, and manufacturing/warehouse experience will be essential to succeed in this role.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in precision, documentation discipline, and consistent product quality.

Key Responsibilities

Production & Equipment Operation

- Operate manufacturing/filling/packaging equipment and assembly lines in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, adjust, and maintain equipment/components accurately per specifications
- Assist in equipment setup, changeovers, calibration checks, and routine preventive maintenance to minimize downtime
- Perform in-process line checks (fill weight/volume, cap torque, label placement, etc.) at specified frequencies

GMP & Quality Compliance
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) at all times, including gowning, hygiene, and hand-washing protocols as required for the production area
- Accurately complete and maintain batch manufacturing records (BMRs), logbooks, and production documentation in real time, following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) — no back-dating, clear corrections, legible entries

- Conduct in-process quality checks (visual inspection, pH, viscosity, fill volume, or other in-process specs as applicable) and escalate deviations immediately
- Support line clearance and changeover procedures to prevent product mix-ups/cross-contamination between batches
- Participate in internal audits, batch record reviews, and CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) follow-through when non-conformances arise
- Adhere strictly to cleaning validation and sanitation schedules for equipment and work areas between batches

Materials & Warehouse
- Manage raw material and finished goods handling within GMP-controlled storage areas, including FIFO/FEFO rotation
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move materials, following material staging and segregation protocols (e.g., quarantine vs. released stock)
- Verify incoming materials against batch records/COAs before use on the line

Safety & Housekeeping
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready work area consistent with 5S principles and GMP housekeeping standards
- Follow all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) protocols, including proper PPE use when handling chemicals/surfactant raw materials
- Report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality deviations promptly through appropriate channels

Team Collaboration
- Work closely with QA, QC,

and production supervisors to meet daily production schedules without compromising quality or compliance
- Participate in training on current SOPs, equipment, or quality systems as required
- Contribute ideas for continuous improvement (line efficiency, waste reduction, documentation clarity)

Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment; prior experience in a GMP, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, or regulated FMCG environment strongly preferred
- Familiarity with cGMP principles and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) — or willingness to be trained and strictly adhere to them
- Mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform minor adjustments/maintenance
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy — critical for batch documentation, in-process checks, and compliance records
- Good manual dexterity for assembly, filling, and packaging tasks
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials (up to 25 kg) consistently through shift duration
- Understanding of workplace safety procedures, including chemical handling/PPE use (relevant given surfactant/chemical raw materials on site)
- Basic literacy/numeracy sufficient for accurate record-keeping and reading SOPs/batch records
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented, compliance-first attitude

Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience working under ISO 9001, ISO 22716 (cosmetics GMP), or similar quality management systems
- Prior exposure to liquid/chemical filling lines (e.g., cleaners, personal care, or similar FMCG products)
- Basic understanding of pH, viscosity, or other QC in-process test methods
