Job Summary:

Program Manager in the Program Management and APQP process. Provide continuous Program Management support interfacing with the Customer and leading the Martinrea Program Team activities from award thru launch of assigned Programs.

Required Education & Experience:

Post-Secondary Education (Undergraduate Degree or Community College Diploma) in the one of the following: · Engineering · Manufacturing (Tooling)

Minimum 5 years’ experience in manufacturing/ tooling; minimum 3 years program management experience; P.Eng or P.M.P. designation preferred

Communicator in the Spanish language, both written and oral is a plus

Comprehension of the English language, both written and oral is required

Excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail

Strong time management skills Thorough understanding of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Extensive knowledge of metal stamping, assembly and quality requirements Essential Functions:

Act as Program Manager leading Program Teams in Program Development with adherence to the APQP process using the Martinrea PMP System





Maintain Program Master Timeline and lead the Program Team in execution of all timing tasks

Number one objective is to lead the Program Team to meet all Customer Deliverables

Number two objective is to lead the Program Team to optimize Program Financials

Assure tasks are complete and tooling collection is on-time or before targeted collection date (cash flow)

Lead and conduct Program Teams in program feasibility studies for designs, processes that achieve key milestone dates

Support and prepare release documents for prototypes, new projects, pilots, engineering changes and miscellaneous orders assuring conformance to Martinrea and Customer program requirements Assure tooling, capital and try out material requisitions for projects are issued in time to meet Program Objectives

Provide customer support, the voice of Martinrea to the customer and the Voice of the Customer to the Martinrea Program Team Lead

Assist the Program Team in generating engineering change quotations and presenting details to the customer

Follow up all facets of the project from cell layout, launch and run at rate

Value analysis and value engineering ideas

Identify and realize opportunities to 1) reduce investment (tooling & capital) and 2) process reductions (manpower, rate, floor space, quality improvements)

Support development of APQP documentation

Monitor and assist suppliers on meeting project goals

Determine and monitor all project goals

Assess and implement continuous improvement projects in relation to current or future project planning

Abide by all Company policies including, but not limited to Health & Safety, Quality & Environmental Systems, HR policies and Martinrea Employee Handbook Work Environment:

Both office setting and production environment

Constant communication with employees

Overtime as required
